Delta State Aide, Ossai Ovie Faults Actor Zubby Michael's Choice of Outfit To Jnr Pope's Burial

 The Delta State governor's aide, Ossai Ovie Success, has openly chastised actor Zubby Michael over the attire he wore to his late colleague Junior Pope's funeral. Junior Pope and other crew members perished in a horrific watercraft accident on April 10, 2024. Many of his colleagues came to pay their respects during his funeral, which was conducted today in Enugu State.

Zubby Michael's decision to wear a red t-shirt on such a solemn occasion particularly infuriated Ossai, who called it insulting and unsuitable considering the event's gravity and Junior Pope's young age. Ossai, who was disappointed with Zubby Michael's choice of attire, said that a white or black dress would have been more appropriate for the burial.

"This is disrespectful to late Jnr Pope," he said. I apologize to Zubby Michael, but this red outfit is not appropriate. It irritates and disrespects the late Jr. Pope that you are wearing a red t-shirt to his funeral. Junior Pope shouldn't have required you to wear red at his funeral because he was so young when he committed suicide. The funeral rites should be a time of serious contemplation rather than revelry. You could have gone there dressed in all white or black.
