Fans divided as war between Davido and Wizkid rages

Fans are clamoring for an immediate resolution to the ugly celebrity feud between music icons Davido and Wizkid.

While they acknowledge that celebrities may have conflicts, they feel that the music industry is not benefiting from the pair's fight. Following their inclusion of record producer Jon Jazzy in the dispute, Davido and Wizkid have continued to disparage one another on social media, with their followers taking sides.

The fight was reportedly reported to the president as of Wednesday, and a resolution might happen in London. Alright, no! Anyway, fans started pleading with the afrobeats celebrities to quit when they realized how disappointingly things were going. Posts such as this one from Oriental Times, which reads, "You'll laugh if you see Wizkid in person. He's 4 feet tall, and I'm short." His shoe size is 7. Online trends include "Shops at Footlocker Kids," a jab at Wizkid by Davido. witty thing is, the same fans who want the conflict would finish quickly have been posting witty and mocking commentary all over the internet.

I'm only here to observe who has what musical taste by watching the Made in Lagos and Timeless albums.but the GODAV, Wizkid Written by Prince Calvs. Monday, Nwakpu "The best is the greatest enemy of good." The best people are envied by the good ones. That's the problem with Davido and Wizkid. They don't realize how valuable uniqueness is. Be unique. Onisoya Victor continued, "My dream is to meet Wizkid and tell him that Davido is better than him."

Wizkid, Davido reignite long-standing feud with fiery social media exchange

Known as the biggest musicians in Nigeria, Davido and Wizkid have been involved in a bitter feud for more than ten years, driven by their devoted fan bases.

The 30 Billion crew and Wizkid FC have refused to back down and have escalated their feud as the two artists continue to trade blows. On Monday, Wizkid and Davido rekindled their long-running dispute in a heated social media discussion.

Renewed fight

The most recent installment of their story began with a diss video that Wizkid posted, seemingly aimed at Davido in a sneaky way. The Ojuelegba singer shared a smuggled footage of Davido pleading with a purported female associate while on his knees.

The footage first appeared online in April. The 33-year-old Wizkid uploaded the video, allegedly insinuating that his followers should beg for a new song with the same fervor as the individual in it (presumably Davido). Wizkid stated that he wouldn't produce a new song based only on requests from fans, but that he would be persuaded if he saw footage of their impassioned cries—as Davido does. The message created a frenzy among Wizkid FC and the 30 Billion gang and set off a social media tempest. It also led to conflict between Tekno, Kizz Daniel, and other musicians. On Monday night, though, Davido felt belittled and gave Wizkid a backhanded clap.

Dead career

Davido claimed in his clapback that people no longer recognize Wizkid's tunes. He boasted that Wizkid and others had not known peace of mind since he got into the music business. That's what I thought, he said. I have no idea why I stopped squandering my influence and risking my millions of dollars' worth of endorsements on someone whose career was revived a few years ago only to die again. The "Unavailable" singer claimed that since darkness disappears in the presence of light, he would locate a beach somewhere to unwind.

It's hilarious that a 4-foot guy like him scares the entire industry. You'll only laugh, idiot, if you see him in person, even though I'm also short. The Grammy-nominated musician expressed disappointment at the cancellation of the tour he was supposed to go on alongside Wizkid. Following his "MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)" tour, Wizkid revealed on his Instagram page on January 18, 2023, that he will be going on a tour with Davido. Davido also made it clear that he wouldn't allow Wizkid's illness to divert or interfere with his concentration. He declared, "Let's all get involved in 2024." We'll see. I am eager for the next twenty years to come. E, have fun with it.

You’re not above me

Wizkid responded to Davido by saying that Davido wasn't better than him in the music business. Dissing Davido in the same video, Wizkid said, "There's no point." I'll say a prayer for all of you deluded individuals. "Davido, you and your entire team, including your songwriter who is also your trouser washer, go to bed believing that you are better than me musically. Wizkid tweeted, "I hope everyone is doing well.

Don Jazzy not spared

Apart from Davido, Wizkid also targeted Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records, calling him a "influencer." He made fun of Don Jazzy, focusing on Ladipoe, who was signed to his record label. Rapper Ladipoe, who is connected to Don Jazzy's label, made fun of Wizkid when he said that "hip hop is dead."

"Nigerian rappers that survived 'hip hop is dead' watching Afrobeat artistes go through their own," stated Ladipoe on his X. When user "miracledc12" notified Wizkid of the post, he responded, saying, "Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer." Afterwards. In addition, he retweeted two statements that seemed to imply he called Don Jazzy an influencer. Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on Instagram after being offended by his comment.

Reactions

On social media, the singers' conversation made people's mouths drop and sparked a number of comments. Wizkid was called a reptile by singer Peruzzi and a former Davido signee for making fun of a fan in a video featuring his former employer. Adesope Olajide, also known online as Shopsydoo, asserted that Wizkid's use of Don Jazzy as an influencer reflected poorly on the Afrobeats movement.

Don Jazzy is not even close to becoming an influencer, he continued; that is a denigration of the entire culture. Furthermore, according to VeryDarkMan, Wizkid made a mistake when he classified Don Jazzy as an influencer. He emphasized that Don Jazzy was the driving force behind Nigeria's first international partnership, highlighting the fact that despite Wizkid's achievements, he will never be able to match the grandeur of the Marvin boss.

"Since Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are never going to be as good as Don Jazzy, I stay out of their issues. But it's unfortunate that Don Jazzy has brought himself down to their level. "Take a look at Tiwa Savage and the respect he gave her; under Don Jazzy's guidance, Rema, D'banj, Wande Cole, and others succeeded." VeryDarkMan went on to say that Wizkid didn't have a single song while Don Jazzy was becoming well-known as a singer and producer.

Furthermore, considering that Wizkid claimed not to have communicated with anyone signed by the music producer, Regha questioned Wizkid's 2017 duet with Tiwa Savage on "Ma Lo" as a Don Jazzy signee. The well-known social media user said, "Wizkid, you're a 33-year-old father of numerous kids.
