Junior Pope implored the captain to go slowly in a video that he shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday. Junior Pope was in a boat without a life jacket. The Nollywood star advised his fans to observe how performers jeopardize their life for their enjoyment. "I have three children to raise," he yelled, pleading with the captain to move gently. He captioned it, saying, "Look at me moping... The risk we take to keep you entertained: yesterday, we crossed the River 9ja without a life jacket. Na wahooooooooo. Who is that person? Among the Nollywood films in which he has acted are "Secret Adventures," "Eye of the Eagle," "Bitter Generation," "Wrong Initiation," and "Honey Money."

Junior Pope, who on Wednesday morning posted a video of himself on a boat, apparently perished in a boat accident. On Wednesday, the actor and three of his coworkers plunged into the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a filming site.

There were four additional individuals involved, but their bodies have not yet been found. Filmmaker Sam Olatunji also declared his passing on Wednesday. "Junior Pope dies." A depressing day for the Nollywood industry.

Although Junior Pope was born in Bamenda, Cameroon on May 7, 1984, he relocated to Nigeria when he was a little child. In 2006, Junior Pope began his acting career and made his Nollywood debut. Junior Pope demonstrated his versatility throughout his career by assuming a variety of roles in a wide range of film genres. 

He has proven his acting abilities in both classic and modern narratives, receiving praise for his work. Audiences found him likable due to his skill in portraying people with nuance and realism.
