The condolence register was also signed by the former governor of Anambra State. On Saturday afternoon, Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo—a former spokesperson for the Labour Party presidential campaign council—posted photos and videos from the visit to his Instagram page. "HE Peter Obi arrived at the residence of John Paul Odonwodo Junior Pope, to pay his condolences to his family over the sad and untimely departure of their child, brother, husband, and father," he said as a caption for the photos and videos.  The Delta State governor's aide, Ossai Ovie Success, has openly chastised actor Zubby Michael over the attire he wore to his late colleague Junior Pope's funeral. Junior Pope and other crew members perished in a horrific watercraft accident on April 10, 2024. Many of his colleagues came to pay their respects during his funeral, which was conducted today in Enugu State.
